Mr. Irvine challenges industry to abandon rudimentary systems for new
and improved point-of-use treatment technologies, thereby saving time, money and
valuable resources.
Liquid fluids (predominately water) and chemical additives are being
consumed at an alarming rate in processes. This consumption rate reflects
tremendous financial and environmental burdens, gravely impacting economies
and societies worldwide. In addressing this problem, Mr. Irvine takes
his business perspective and balances it with respect for natural resources,
providing industry, municipalities and commercial business with unprecedented
performance and record-smashing cost savings.
Over the last two decades, research effort and funding in large particle separation and filtration has been virtually nonexistent, leaving rudimentary technologies in place that reflect high operation and maintenance costs. In these competitive business times with natural resources at a premium, Mr. Irvine redirects attention to macrofiltration and coarse separation. He largely abandons conventional systems and methodologies for placement of ruggedized innovative treatment systems right on the factory floor, thereby mitigating the problem where it originates.
Mr. Irvine founded EFS to stimulate and revitalize interest in research, development and application of new technologies that adequately address the inherent inefficiencies of conventional treatment systems. In successfully doing this, tremendous savings have been realized by industry, municipalities, and commercial business. In implementing innovative products and strategies, the environment is now being relieved of process malpractice. He has EFS leading the pack in developing and applying the latest technologies, thereby leaving business and the environment in the green.
